Meet Spraggins. He is one of the narrators of my novel, Bumblebee Physics. He’s probably the most resonant character I’ve ever written; people who are familiar with the manuscript occasionally ask about him. It’s hard to say why. He is a little boy’s imaginary friend, with a mean streak, a tail and a pack a day habit.
I took about a year hiatus from working on Bumblebee Physics, but resolved, during my spring break from teaching, to pull the trigger and find a home for the book.
What’s a project you know you have to finish but can’t seem to wrap up?
