Wow! I’m also a huge fan of the predator. I became a predator fan since seeing the Arnold Swartzenegger movie. I also think the capcom game is badass. It is the best final fight style beatem up. It beats final fight, streets of rage, double dragon; hands down. I played it to death until I could beat the game on two quarters at my arcade.

Unfortunately, the game did not recieve the recognition it deserved because of poor timing. the game was released at a time when those type of 2-d final fight brawlers were going out of style and the PS1 and sega saturns were coming online.

I have an old copy of a “game pro” magazine which rated capcom’s game, and it got perfect fives in all categories! (sound, fun factor, graphics, controls)

I only wish this game would be re-released in high definition for xbox or ps3, but unfortunately because of liscensing issues, it probably will never see the light of day on home consoles.

Also, if you liked Aliens vs predator War, then you must check out Aliens vs predator Prey. It is where Machiko Noguchi first meet’s Broken Tusk (Dachande) the predator she fights alongside to defeat the alien infestation on Ryushi. Wonderful book. (there is reference to broken tusk in AVP war) Also, check out david bischoff’s Aliens vs predator Hunters Planet. Its cool to.

I also agree that aliens vs predator the movies were kinda lame. I own both of them because I like anything AVP on the big screen but they did not do either the novels, arcade game or anything like that justice. Hopefully the new Alien and Predators movie will be better.

Also, check out the Predator: Dark river comic. it is cool.

I would just like to assure everyone that I can personally vouch that all statements concerning the young Paul Tunis are true. Also the sacred graphic novels remained in our gun safe safely tucked away in double ziploc bags next to the 357 Smith and Wessons until 2008 when Paul decided to liberate them.
